Laurentian, I applied there because I did my BSW with them, but they have very limited spots. I knew the chances of getting in were slim because they can't take students on atm. If I get off the waitlist, I will take the spot, but at least they didn't reject me, haha. I really wanted to apply to TMU, but I think I will apply to more universities in 2025 with hopes of getting into one. And L however might be a bit late telling you lol.

No, they didn't; I think that it has to do with work experience; I hear that they look for students with a lot under their belt. One of my current profs also kind of confirmed it for me, saying its very difficult to get in. I regret only applying to two schools but I think a year off will be good either way for me!

I officially got my rejection email today for the one year and was waitlisted for my other school. I know some others have already been accepted to Lauriers one year, so I am sure everyone else will hear back shortly. I'm not sure if I should just take the year to improve my application to make it stronger or maybe consider more schools when I apply next time around. I only had very few volunteer hours, some respite work, plus my previous practicums for experience and an overall A- GPA, so I wasn't too hopeful of my chances, I tried to write strong statements to make up for it. Good luck to everyone else who applied for the one-year track at Laurier! Hoping that 2025 will be my time.

Im literally dying of anxiety over here while other universities have sent out acceptances already. Also one year track here, and well tomorrow is end of March haha.

It says end of March so hopefully that is true, I feel for the streams that say end of April/May.

I am going insane waiting for Laurier to put out acceptances, why do they take so long??
