  1. AFAIK it's by individual committees. I.e., people in your committee needs to decline in order for you to move up the list.
  2. Apparently I am 8th place in the waitlist (Committee 2B, 66/136, 58 were offered). Feels so close yet so far... Hopefully next year will be the one haha
  3. Anyone in Committee 2B who received an offer? I am wondering what the cutoff was.
  4. Last name S, Committee 2B, found out about 5 minutes ago. I was "recommended" but not offered. Research ability and potential: 4.29 / 6 Relevant experience and achievements obtained within and beyond academia: 5.13 / 6 Total Score: 9.42 / 12 I wonder if this means I'm in a waitlist? I am also curious why they didn't notify us of our ranking in the committee like in the past years...
  5. They used to be different until last year (CSG-D was more substantial), but they essentially combined it into a single funding scheme from this year. They both offer the exact same amount of funding.
  6. Messaged you! Good(?) to see you here again haha
  7. Not this again... There has got to be a better way to release the results than this.
  8. Thanks for making this thread. I think it's normal for the application to disappear at this stage. Mine is gone too. The wait has been killing me. Hopefully they aren't delayed like last year. Good luck to everyone!
  9. Any UK applicants here?
  10. I've gotten a similarly low score and feeling discouraged. It's really frustrating that we don't get any explanations about the scores. (Especially when my prospective advisor, who is a leading scholar in my field, thought that my proposal was outstanding...) I am planning to reapply next year, but I honestly don't know where to begin
  11. I didn't get the scholarship either. Feeling immensely disappointed...
  12. Ah that makes sense. Good to have some realistic expectations... Hopefully that at least means that if we don't get the award this year, we will have a much better chance next year.
  13. Will the increased number of awards apply for this year too? Does it mean that we may see some additional offers made later on?
  14. Looking at the statistics, it does seem like they decided to fund much less people compared to last year? Folks getting rejected with scores above 10 is just insane...
  15. That's really cool! I'd love to hear more about your work. And good luck tomorrow
