I got accepted to SFAI and CCA, so I'm planning on visiting both so I can compare programs, which are also very different from each other. I really have to figure out what I want/prefer out of an mfa program and which program will better set me up for future endeavors. It'll be one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make. I'd appreciate any insights into either program. I'm still waiting to hear about any potential funding from both schools. I also got accepted to CGU, but am leaning towards San Francisco vs. a suburb of L.A. CGU also only gives 2nd year students funding ($11K).

How did you hear you were waitlisted for Cornell? I haven't heard a peep from them. Were you already interviewed?

How did you (already) hear about the CCA TA deal? I got an email today just saying I was accepted and that I'd get more info in the mail regarding funding.

Hey Thanks! I'd love to hear more from your perspective, I feel kind of clueless about them. Although they seem to have some cool profs, so that's why I applied. Turns out they only give funding to 2nd year students (11K) and nothing to first years, although there are work study opps.

Did anyone else apply to CGU or know anyone attending there now? I just found out I got accepted.

Hi Pickupsticks, I was interviewed by CCA but haven't heard anything back from them yet. For me a "couple of weeks" would be the end of this week, but I'm thinking it will probably be next week. Still keeping my fingers crossed!
