  1. Yeah, i got a somewhat apologetic remark over the phone, and they said that they would be sending out e-mails apologizing for their mistake. *rolls eyes*. I say, ive suffered emotional trauma and an acceptance should mend it. :-) At least I knew that something was not right since my application was not complete...think about the people who had complete applications.
  2. Just received an acceptance letter from Drexel Public Health. This perplexed me since my application was incomplete. I called the school, and it seems like the school accidently sent out about 20 of these e-mails because they were figuring out how to work the system. WTF. Thanks for that.
  3. True. But i really want to be in school! hahahaha. :-)
  4. Yeah, its def not something I WANT to go through again. Most of my friends have already received their responses--I want to be in the same place. I graduated early, so Ive already been out for a little while and it was difficult to concentrate. I think I have a plan b to comfort me in case I dont get in anywhere--so i know that not getting in isnt the end of everything. haha.
  5. Worst comes to worse--If i dont - then Im going to continue working at my full time job, and focus on applications for Fall 2010 (currently applying for Fall 09), and get a dog....lol. Ive only applied to 6 schools--although I would like to get into these schools, I have my options open enough to enjoy (did I just say that?) going through a second round of applications. What about you guys?
  6. Haha, agreed. Its comforting to know that everyone is getting mailed at the same time. Yet, I wasnt sure before, and with the 20% increase Im even more worried. Gotta keep the head up though! March is around the corner. Did anyone NOT give GRE/GMAT score for the application?
  7. Ahh, still waiting as well! Has anyone else applied to NYU (Wagner), Tulane, SC Arnold (they forgot to take note of my GMAT scores for the department ( ) or Drexel? I think I want to go to Tulane as my first choice, a little worried about the crime. I was looking at the school reviews and most people are either getting robbed, beat up or pistol whipped. Has everyone pretty much taken the GRE, I feel like the odd duck taking the GMAT? P.S. How old is everyone here applying to the PH program? BEST!
  8. Couldnt locate a forum for a lot of these schools... Has anyone heard back for the programs yet? :-)
  9. Hey all, Has anyone heard back yet from their schools? Ive applied to NYU, Drexel, Tulane and Arnold. Havent heard back anything yet. Thanks!
  10. i think that should be fine.
  11. Couldnt find a forum for Fall 2009. Wanted to ask everyone applying for this term how their apps are going. I turned mine in on the 12th. They are still missing my transcripts because they havent gone through all the mail yet. :-/ Where else is everyone applying---NYU top choice?
  12. Yeah, I tried calling earlier but they (the VM) said that their offices are closed from Dec 24-Jan 5. So, I obviously didnt get to speak to anyone. But thank you! :-)
  13. According to NYU: standardized test scores (GRE or GMAT scores are strongly recommended, but not required) Standardized Test Scores GRE or GMAT test scores are strongly recommended for applicants who have performed at or below the suggested minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average, for applicants who may have not taken or performed poorly in previous quantitative courses, for applicants with no prior background in social science or other relevant courses, or for applicants who have been away from academic study for ten years or more. The Admissions Committee reserves the right to request scores from any applicant. I am wondering whether I should wait till I take my GMAT or should I send the application in asap? Is it disadvantageous to send in the application without graduate exams scores? Also, if you have done this can you lend me some advice? Furthermore, does anyone know the average GRE or GMAT score for NYU? I couldnt find it. Obviously, the better I do the better my chances are for getting in. Unfortunately, I have already taken the GMAT once and my score was not that great. I am retaking it once more in Feb. So I would really appreciate some information on scores that helped individuals get in to NYU wagner. P.S. My GPA is over a 3.5 from a top 20 school Best
