Is this typical. I wasnt aware that public health had interviews. Does anyone know what type of questions are asked?

Hi, Well one of my schools works in the same way. A prof from the department reviews your app and decides whether orn ot to reccomend you to the chair. Once the chair gives the go, the rec goes to the graduate school, who makes the final decision. Most likely if the dept. has given the thumbs up, the school will follow. But thats my experience at least. Hope that helps!

*sigh* join the club! According to the website, we should be hearing back by march 31--latest. I will be calling.

I havent heard back from anywhere either....the waiting process is killing me. I also applied to NYU Wagner. I applied Jan 15, so March 31st is the deadline for hearing back--i think. If i dont hear anything by then, I will be calling in. Let me know if you hear from them.

Does anyone know if letters from schools are being sent out during weekends? Dont know if its automated? Would save me the energy of checking e-mails 5 times a day if theyre not. lol. Thanks!

Ive been thanking them along the way and keeping them in touch. I havent heard back from any schools but creating a safety net in case I have to reapply. It will be tough to tell them I didnt get in anywhere...but I will NEED to because I will need a rec letter from them again... Do teachers not keep the rec letters on record for a little while?????? I find it surprising that some teacher would be reluctant to help with a LOR again. Whats up with that?

Interesting situation. Personally, school comes first! I am in a relationship (3yrs) right now and there is a strong chance school will cause problems within the relationship since we both have difficulty with long distance relationships--we both are applying to schools that are in dif states. However, both of us know that education and career come before a relationship when youre not married or engaged. Hope you can make both work for ya!!! ;-)

I am applying to NYU Wagner, USC (Arnold PH), Tulane, Drexel, and Robinson Business. I am REALLY hoping I get in somewhere....SOON. Where did you apply/get in?

March. I should hear back from schools by the end of March--latest. For the last month Ive been at work and done nothing but check e-mails, contact the schools, and look for other programs (in case I dont get in ANYWHERE--lets hope not). I feel like im gonna barf everytime I log into my e-mail. Furthermore, feeling like im going to get into a program one minute and rejected the next...sucks. I can feel it...im probably getting an e-mail right NOW ---*checks e-mail* :roll:
