  1. Hey Guys I have been accepted at Stanford and Georgia Tech for an MS in Electrical Engineering. Here are the relevant details: 1) Georgia Tech- Full Scholarship 2) Stanford- No funding, but family is willing to fund Which one should I pick? I have less than 48 hours to decide! Thanks!

  3. Georgia Tech is more prestigious than Stanford! Lol! I had never heard that before. Georgia Tech's Graduate Engineering Program is the largest in the country (According to US News). So its like what Purdue is to Undergraduates. The only reason that is keeping me away from GaTech is the fact that I did my undergrad there, and I kinda wanna gain a perspective from a different engineering school. But I really don't know how different the two are going to be.
  4. I got in to Georgia Tech (with full funding too). So, Georgia Tech (With Funding) vs Stanford (Without funding), which is more prestigious and which one will give me more opportunities in the job market and also a chance to do an MBA from a prestigious school?
  5. @haeye- I will post my profile on the "Admission Statistics" page soon @Everyone- so if this course is a cash cow for Stanford, do you guys think its not worth it?
  6. Hey All Congrats to all those that have been Admitted to Stanford's MS EE program. Like me, I am sure most of you must be eagerly waiting/researching about funding options at Stanford. Does anyone have any news about what the funding situation is at Stanford? How many students usually receive fellowships? Is there anyone who has received a fellowship?
  7. Hi All I am currently deciding about whether or not to attend the MS in Electrical Engineering program at Stanford. I know this that a certain point in time in my career (2years, 5years, 10 years or maybe more), I will want to pursue an MBA. Do you guys think that completing my Masters from Stanford will actually help me get admitted to the Graduate School of Business at Stanford? I completed my undergrad from Georgia Tech. My other option for Masters in EE is to go to Georgia Tech itself. Do you think having Stanford instead of Georgia Tech on my resume will actually help me get admitted to a prestigious MBA school?

  10. Do You know the acceptance rates for Stanford's MS EE program?
  11. I actually attended Georgia Tech for my undergrad. Would it then make sense to go to Stanford for my Masters? My ultimate goal is to land a top paying job in the industry. What would be a better option?
  12. So has anyone heard back from Berkeley yet?
  13. When you say that, do you mean Stanford's program is not worth it?
  14. Hey All I am making a really tough decision here. I have been accepted at Stanford and at Georgia Tech for a Masters in Electrical Engineering (I will not be continuing for a Ph.D.). As of today, Georgia Tech has given me full funding for the program, whereas Stanford has given me none. I am very confused about which school to pick. Can someone please compare and contrast the two schools and tell me what decision would be a wise one? I really need help picking the right school. Thanks
  15. Hey All I received an acceptance on the 17th... there was no decision on funding. I applied to the MS program only (I am currently not interested in a Ph.D.). My question is do we need to apply separately for funding? If not, when do we find out about funding decisions?
