I have a friend at USC in a different Master's program, and apparently, with the government aid cut, the school has rescinded offers for many of the incoming Master's and PhD programs. I'm unsure if it directly impacted this decision, as the aid was for research and tailored toward STEM, but it could play a part. And like they said, they had a lot of applicants. Maybe a mix of the two.
No I don't think so! The first decision in the past has been made to see the applicants they want to interview. There hasn't been a first decision yet, so we all have a chance still, so don't worry!
Yeah, it's pretty vague. I don't know what to make of it. I wish it were more specific so everyone could know. I'm hopeful that it'll be next week at the latest. However, I believe interviews are a part of the process, which might delay offers even further into April.
It's still a big accomplishment! A huge congratulations to you! You never know what will happen, you may get off the waitlist.
Do you have updates on any other schools? Sorry if you said it before earlier in the thread.
