After talking to some students in the program this year... I think they send you an email saying your application decision is ready, which directs you to the application hompage, which has a link at the bottom which opens a page with the letter on it. Sounds convoluded but a decision is a decision I suppose.

The HGSE standard answer is that they look at all applications "holistically", but after speaking with a few students admitted last year I believe it. I was concerned about this myself, and not much comforted by the answer at the time I heard it. It's grown on me though. Good luck :-)

Hi Alex, are you talking about Ed.D. applicants? I believe (for Ed.M. at least) that you're notified by email to log in to your application home page where there is a link you click that directs you to an acceptance or rejection letter. Just wanted to clarify so people wouldn't be too concerned about not receiving phone calls...

Compiling all the financial aid info and submitting, oy! How's everyone else doing with their finaid applications and the waiting time?

my program of choice is Ed.M. in Arts in Education. My background is mostly in the arts, only a little bit of an education. @TESOLady there should be an "employment" section of the online application. At the top it has a place to upload your resume and then below that you type out "Employment 1, employment 2, etc."

Saw there was a general HGSE topic for last year and thought I'd start a consolodated thread. Anyone else applying?
