Hi Kathryn. Congrats on McGill. I will be attending there, also for epidemiology. See you in the fall.
  2. i gasped walking up stairs when i was 20 so can't relate. but depression, yes i could relate to that
  3. It was an open-house type of event for the Department of Community Health and Epidemiology. Sounded like a good event because there were faculty and students to answer questions.... plus they would have paid for travel and food (free food!)
  4. Anyone end up going to the Queen's Annual Day today? I couldn't....still writing exams.
  5. Speaking to some academic researchers doing public health and epi, they speak most highly of Toronto's program though. Just giving another perspective from academia side of things...
  6. Can't agree more. My main deciding factor is also the interaction I'll be getting at the institute and who those interactions will be with.
  7. Can't speak for the doctoral program, but the acceptances for Master's (epi) are out. Good luck everyone!
  8. I've heard UT accepts 10 people, but I don't know if's that number is only in the epi specialization. On the forums, people have posted getting acceptances and rejections from McGill as early as March 23rd. Does anyone know how many student McGill accepts in the epi Master's thesis program? Such an unnerving time....
