I told Ole Miss I was committing and they said they'd send me my contract yesterday, so I figured I'd take myself off my waitlists after. But I haven't gotten any contract or heard back yet 👀 so now I'm overthinking it.

Same offer ad for @jinny-r if you want any of the info I got from prospective students, or jsut to chat about the program, let me know! I got an offer for fiction.

If you want to hear anything from the current students they've connected me to, feel free to DM! It feels like a really fast decision to me now, I can't imagine if you were to get in after April 15th and had to decide.

I was accepted off the waitlist last night! I'm very excited, emailing my other waitlists today to try to get a clearer picture. Three days to decide!

Lol I'm gonna do it I'll tell you what I hear. I'm emailing them and Boise.

Every day I wake up at 6am ET to go work at a high school and immediately start my day of impatiently checking for updates far far before anyone else, especially in other time zones, is even awake to start making them. If I didn't work so early I would be impatient for so much less time. But every day my brain is like what if someone in Boise is starting their day at 4am. I have been refreshing for five hours and they probably just got to work.

Ooh if you do let me know what they say. I'm still waiting for them and Boise as my only ones marked not soft rejections at this point.

Hi! Just wanted to say, I sent an email asking for updates and reiterating my interest to all four of my waitlists and UTK is the only one that didn't respond within the hour. I haven't gotten any responses from them since that first email. I replied to that original email they sent me, so maybe try the portal? I haven't done that yet.

I like to treat the weekend as an email refreshing break and try to do something else. Last weekend it got so bad I picked up watching Grey's Anatomy again.

Yeah I also applied for Boise and heard nothing.

Lol me and like four of my coworkers just spent three professional development lectures making sure we thought it sounded okay. Also, prefacing, I am new to all of this! I just reached out to my waitlisted schools to see if they had any updates and reaffirm my interest. Miami Ohio and Ole Miss both said no updates, and ASU said one person accepted and the other four are pending. UTK hasn't replied yet.
