Has anyone gotten their NSERC scholarship deposited into their bank account yet?

I did get the $5 today, and I emailed them back with the confirmation. I did not receive any additional notification regarding when they will disburse the remaining funds.

I just got an email today saying they are doing test runs to deposit funds into your bank account with a test amount of $5. Has anyone gotten the $5 yet?

Oh, I am in the same boat as you then. I was already at a foreign institution when I submitted my NSERC application. The following question is not targeted towards you: Has anyone who was awarded the NSERC this year had their notification state that the award is unconditional and can be held at an international university? If so, could the person please provide me with the exact (quote) statement?

Yeah, I am also confused, based on an earlier post: "the top-ranked applicants are offered an unconditional (internationally-held) award." However, has anyone received an award notification stating that their offer is unconditional and can be held at an international institution?

So when I accept the award via email, I just write an email saying I accept it; no need to email them the form? I do not need to worry about the award being held at a Canadian institution. On the notification document, it stated: "You must hold your award at an eligible Canadian institution. You will be notified if an award becomes available that can be held at an international institution."

If I were awarded the NSERC Canada Graduate Research Scholarship — Doctoral (CGRS D) award, how would I accept it if I am currently studying at a foreign university? Should I send the email to accept for now, or do I need to complete the forms now?

Do you happen to know of any committees that aren't too competitive? I am an electrical engineer; my research proposal assessed climate change's impact on road infrastructure, which is why I submitted it to the civil engineering committee. However, perhaps I should have submitted in the field of data science, but I couldn't find it in some of the committee selection options.

Thank you so much for the advice. One thing you mentioned above is the committee that is assessing my application. When you say CV/ML, what are you referring to? This year, I submitted my application for the civil engineering committee but was rejected.

Does anyone here have a successful NSERC CGS-D or PGS-D application that they'd be willing to share? My application this year was unsuccessful, but I plan to apply again in October. Any insight or suggestions for next year's application will be much appreciated. If you are not comfortable sharing it on the forum, please message me privately. I assume you also got the email and were sent to an external website so you can log in and see the results.

Based on your experience last year, did they send out the successful applications first? Also, when did you provide the results notification date-wise?

I know the monetary amount for the CGS-D and PGS-D is the same. However, the CGS-D is restricted to students pursuing their graduate studies at a Canadian post-secondary institution, while the PGS-D does not have this restriction. Therefore, if your university nominated you for the NSERC scholarship, you will likely be nominated for the CGS-D. Perhaps the CGS-D provides the decisions slightly before the PGS-D, as they must first inform the university of the decision. This is why some people in their forum have said they heard from their university that they received the CGS-D scholarship, but have not received the official email from NSERC. Also, I think even if you were to be rejected by NSERC for CGS-D or PGS-D, you will be given an official notification.

So far, all the posts I have read in this forum are from applicants who got their results for the NSERC CGS-D (Canada Graduate Scholarships - Doctoral program). Has anyone heard from the NSERC Postgraduate Scholarships – Doctoral (PGS D) program?
