I've applied as well! Haven't heard back yet, but they did ask me to clarify an item on my transcript like last week so I suppose they're still looking at application materials.

Hey! I heard back for an interview for next week over Zoom. I'd seen someone else had been invited for an interview a few days before me, and it was a little nerve-wracking, so I'd say they might be doing it in waves right now, and that you are not out of consideration yet!

That's such an interesting perspective to work from! I am applying to PhD programs with strong South Asian faculty - looking mainly at craft and artisinal labor, ideally with woven textiles as my primary inquiry. Also looking at interdisciplinary programs that might allow me to do making-focused research as well; i've been weaving for over 8 years now!
