Anyone claiming the Duke Lit interview? I know those invites historically go out over the course of 1-2 days but made my heart stop to see it on the survey page!

UMN Decisions are out, I unfortunately did not get in. First rejection for this cycle (and ever for me!) so I am pretty bummed about this one!

It's definitely not. GradCafe has been MUCH quieter this year but I know from friends and colleagues that adcoms are seeing record numbers across disciplines. I attribute the quiet here to the steady decline of forum use unfortunately, I'm sure people are gathering on social media more now.

Good luck everyone, sounds like we're all casting a wide net! The waiting to hear back anxiety hit me harder already than I thought it would. With my master's I applied so last minute I had no time to think so now I'm on the edge of my seat far too early haha

Good luck! I applied at WGSS/Feminist programs at UMN, UWa, UWi, and two English/WGSS combo programs for Yale and UMich as my studies are very interdisciplinary so I have no idea what my best fit program will end up being

Did not see one of these made for the upcoming cycle so I thought I'd make one! This is my primary focus in my apps this year so very interested to hear from other folks on what they are applying to!

First application season for PhD, I'm firstgen and didn't know things like this existed when I did my Master's! I'm applying at History, WGSS, and Literature programs because I have a pretty interdisciplinary niche and have nooooooooooo idea what my chances are in any options!
