Congrats on the waitlist! I was wondering if your portal says waitlisted or if you were notified by email? I also applied but haven't gotten any emails but my portal says "decision released"... I'm assuming the worst lol

I applied to Pratt. I also had an interview a little over a week ago. Based off of what I can find from previous years, we should hear back any day now! Good luck!!

I have a less than stellar undergraduate GPA so I have been emailing schools to add a document explaining the reasons behind it. Many of the schools allowed me to upload the addendum but a few have told me that it is not necessary because their primary focus is the writing sample. I think it is incredibily irresponsible of a professor who has no knowledge of your writing to try to dissuade you from applying. If I were you I would ask for a reccomendation from someone in your workshop, they can actually speak to your abilities to write and give feedback.

I noticed that! I saw that someone else had added stuff then it got changed? I went back in the version history and put the deleted stuff back. I thought maybe it was a mistake by the person who created the overall document?

One of the universities I applied to asked me to interview in December! I was really surprised because it's way too early, right? Maybe they aren't getting many applicants this year, I'm not sure. I'm excited but also a bit suspicious lol. What do you guys think? (I don't wanna say which school before the interview cause I'm worried about them checking this stuff)

I finished my applications about a week ago, now it's just a waiting game. I did realize that I might have accidentally put in the wrong gpa on my applications but I can't open them to verify so I sent an email to all the schools to verify the correct gpa. I hope I didn't mess this up completely!
