congrats!!! adding schools to your list is one of the perks of applying multiple years i guess... i got positive responses from my lower choices while still waiting for my top ones but i'm realizing i skipped out on a lot of schools i would have matched better with just because i didn't apply to them LOL. now i'm wondering if it would be insane to apply a second year for places i'd be more passionate about with better fits/locations/etc

anyone have tips or best practices for following up on waitlists? i've been on an unranked one since january, i reaffirmed my interest the same day, and just want to get an update now. not really sure what i can ask them if i can't say Heyyyy what are my chances. should i just check in and ask qs about the program? will anything i do move me up/down the (un) ranks?

based on the post a couple messages behind yours (who i am enormously happy for #congrats #slay #queen) i’m thinking this is very possible. but optimistically it’s also possible it’s just a few days’ variance from other years considering the spreadsheet shows last year 2/27 and the year before 2/21. idk. pass the ashwagandha
