im sorry to hear this! so did the financial aid office send you an email? or the admissions office? did they say anything specifically -- like, maybe there're more fundings and you can bargain for more? -

do we know when the merit-base scholarship decision will be out? Is it attached to the admissions acceptance offer letter?
