  1. Just looking for someone in somewhat of a similar boat, (B.A. Art History, seeking M.A. Arts Administration) Maybe we can exchange personal statements...or maybe we can discuss the winding road to grad school...or talk about the GRE...I'm not really opposed to anything. I'm finding it a little hard to be motivated and stay on track with applications-- 1. I've already graduated/no longer in the conducive student environment of like-minded individuals and 2. I keep hearing about our "lost generation"...which is daunting to anyone, but especially to those of us who want to pursue a career in the arts. Then again it might be a self-fulfilling prophecy, perhaps leading people astray in their career choices. ...or not. These are the frustrating questions I think about daily, which are usually answered with "do what you love" or "just get your teaching degree" or "wait another year" I'd love to hear from anyone. So I'll stop now. But if any of the above resonates with the way you're feeling, I'd love to talk. If anything, we can encourage each other. Have a great day!
  2. I'm considering applying to Temple. I know this school has a good reputation for its Art History program, but i haven't heard much about how competitive it is. Does anyone know? Suggestions on good but less competitive programs?
  3. What are the benefits of a post-baccalaureate program? Is this a viable solution for students who wish to enroll in MA porgrams for Art History, but feel as if their undergrad grades/preparation are not competitive enough? Are there any such programs to give your application an extra boost?
