Hi people, I will be attending Northeastern University this fall. My major is Computer Science. I will arrive Boston around August 20 and I need an temporary and affordable place to stay until I find an apartment. I am sure there are people familiar with Boston area here, so could you give any advice on this matter? I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi people! I got accepted to 2 different grad schools in US but I am still waiting to hear about assitanship funding from one of them. Both of the schools want me to send financial documents to them in order to complete my application.My question is that would it be a problem for me to send financial documents to both of the schools and receiving 2 different I-20 forms? If you can share what you think, I would really appreciate it.

Hi people! I received an email from University of Georgia in December 20 saying that I have been recommended by Computer Science for admission to the Graduate School of the University of Georgia. It was a really early decision for me. They wanted me to send Certificate of Financial Form(COF) showing 30000$ funds to cover for the first year to issue I-20. After I contacted with the department, they told me that financial aid will be decided in March. Has anyone heard any good or bad news about funding? Or maybe I am waiting for no reason:(. They told me to send COF as soon as possible but I am still waiting for financial aid :S. Anyone is in the same situation with me??

hey, same thing happened to me too. I sent 2-3 emails to gradadm@grad.umass.edu before I got a reply from them. They should have sent you an email containing your admission id and admission access code to check your application online at https://webapp.spire.umass.edu/admissions/htdocs/applicant/gradapp_logon.html. I got a reply from Patrick Sullivan in the end, he sent me an email from gdadmack@grad.umass.edu so you can either directly email to that address or you can send another email to gradadm. Eventually they will send a reply dont worry.

Hi people! I applied to Northeastern University for Phd in CS but I might get an acceptance to only MS program cuz my gpa is not very high and my GRE scores are a little above average (GPA: 3.07 GRE=> Verbal: 340 Quantitative:750 A.W:3). If I got rejected from Phd and accepted to MS program I will consider doing co op because it could really support me financially alot otherwise it would be really hard for me to finance my education.I have a 2 years of Professional Experience in a company and I was wondering if co op opportunities are really as good as they say for Northeastern? I mean do i have a high chance of finding a well paying job in co op? Anyone has any experience on that subject please share:)
