Has anyone heard absolutely anything from IU Bloomington or Syracuse?

On Slideroom, the deadline of my Tyler app. says 1/25/11...I was rejected today. The deadline of my Syracuse app. says 3/31/11 - the deadline was actually February 1st. Hmmm.....

TODAY: Tyler - rejected - ohhhhhhhh welllllllllllllllllllll. blah. PAFA - accepted with scholarship!

Another "Fighting Scot"?! Oh my! I applied to Yale (rejected) - it was a shot in the dark encouraged by Malcolm (do you know Malcolm?) Syracuse U., PAFA, Tyler, SUNY Albany, and Indiana U. (Bloomington). Where have you applied and when did you graduate from EUP?

Crappola, oh well. I've applied to 6 schools - giving myself an ulcer for the responses. Is this your first time applying? I just looked at your website, the shark series is pretty killer - especially the ones with the white backgrounds.

Scolby, have people begun to receive notifications from Tyler? My status is still "Completed, Ready for Review." I'm also waiting for PAFA - maybe you and I will wind up in the same program.

Yes, I'm a Painting applicant, and my app status is still "Complete, Ready for Review."

I've heard that Bloomington is great. I wait tables at a fine dining restaurant, and for some reason people always ask "What do you do besides this?" Which is extremely insulting, but hey - it brings up conversations about my artwork. Anyhow, one night a big table of retired Profs of different types asked and the conversation about my grad school wishes began. I brought up IU Bloomington and they all gasped and practically started cheering. They explained that a few of them had received their Master's degrees there and how fantastic the city is. I have my fingers crossed for IU.

Waiting to hear from: Tyler, Indiana U., Syracuse, PAFA, and SUNY Albany....Painting concentration. Has anyone had a response from any of these schools yet?

All of this waiting is really irritating my IBS. Nail biting continues.
