to Advocate: I am MA. Undergrad: Bachelor of Literature in English from abroad GPA: 3.6 Grad: Master of Arts in Communication from Georgetown GPA:3.7 plus a couple of conference papers, mass comm related

to Advocate: I got in Balsillie School (Waterloo) with full funding. They are taking in 15 graduate students this year (including both phd and masters)

looks like another quiet day for UVA...

I havent heard from UVA either. this is strange...

still no word on UVA...

so i guess UVA would be the first of my list to hear from... unrelated, i'd like to ask a silly question...why do all these programs stress on their sites that no decisions will be rendered thru email or phone, yet people do seem to find out in this way?

to adaptations, thanks again for your kind reply. i guess GRE verb still serves as a hurdle for non-native speakers, especially those from east asia... unrelated, i read a post in last years results, that there were 8700 applicants to the yale poli sci program in 2008??? oh, best of luck to everyone on this forum

GRE 550verb(sucks, i know)/790quant i have two research papers that recently got published, mass comm related...not sure if i should send the programs i am applying to a note on this update tho, i mean, at this point when the admission cycle is kicking...

Hi guy, this is my first time posting on this forum. i just graduate from Georgetown with a MA in Communication and am currently applying to poli sci PHD programs. I understand that most schools state that decisions are sent out in the first two weeks of March. but I am just wondering if anyone here knows when one can expect to hear decisions. i heard that some people say about late Feb being the time to hear from schools. is there some sort of early admission? are there rounds? (the waiting is just painful...) thanks a lot! and best of luck to u guys too. s
