Hi Reac, I haven't heard from Purdue but saw a few acceptance on the board some time back. I'm guessing its a no from anywhere we haven't heard from now. I have not heard back from anywhere else yet so am preparing for a reject from all the places.

I'm guessing the same. Seems like you dont have much to worry about. For me, so far a rejection from Stanford, and no response from other 5 schools I applied to. So, seems like I just have to plan on continuing my job for at least one more year. Good luck with grad school !

Dont know about Cornell but I know that UIUC and WUSTL have sent out a lot of offers already. Not sure if there is still a chance or not though, I'm waiting to hear from them too but given the timing i'm guessing the chances are very slim. Let's wait and see.

Mellmer, have you heard anything else from NW?

Thanks Mellmer. That is about what Keli wrote back to me too when I contacted her the last week of Jan. Lets hope we'll hear something soon. Did you apply to Stanford too? I've seen both acceptance and rejections posted on the site but I haven't heard anything. The silent treatment is killing me.

mellmer, I'd personally prefer UW-Madison but I dont know much about either programs. Did you hear from NW too?

Thanks for the responses.I applied Jan1 but received an email from the secretary saying my one of my letter or rec was still missing( I had one letter emailed to her directly but apparently she forgot about it). I was scared if they were done sending all the invites. What other schools are you guys waiting on?

Any more news for the Chem E Applicants? I'm starting to get really anxious now. Please share your experience if you have applied to Stanford, UIUC, Northwestern, Purdue, Washington University or Colorado State. Hope its not getting to the point when the offers are mostly gone.

Nice to see a Chem E group. I've been waiting for Northwestern too. What other schools are you guys waiting on?
