Thanks Jpark, I have also applied to UCB. Are you a PhD student there? Inspekt, I am a man:), but yeah, you are right, the majority in schools of education are women. I got a list of top 10 grad. educ. schools from the USNews report, and applied to 6 of them I have a good job and will have to sacrifice my job to go grad school, therefore I want the school I go worth to sacrifice good money etc... I am mathematician, with economics background who finds boring working in the industry.

Hi guys, I am applying to the doctoral programs in some top schools of education. Being an international student I have relatively low GRE verbal (470), but my GRE quant. is 800, and the TOEFL score is 98.2 percentile (112). LORs sound good. Do you think those top schools have quota for international students? Also, I have two publications in one of SAGE's encyclopedia, do you think that will help? Also, do you guys think Stanford School of Ed. is more selective than HGSE? Thanks in advance
