Hi, I just got an acceptance at BME in Washington University in St. Louis (WashU) with full tuition + finantial support (astonishing great news for me =D).
Now I am worried about getting visa, international driver's license, bank account, place to live and all that stuff.
Someone with more experience could detail this process?
Thanks!
Freaking out here, checking the email every 5 minutes, still not receive the commitee email...
lucien, could you please post your scores GRE/GPA here?
Thanks!
Please, the good souls who were accepted in Biomedical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis could help me with more information (what's your profile? did they interview?)
I am freaking out, it is my first and only option and I didnt receive an answer yet!
Hi, I just applied to Biomedical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis. I am a senior student in Computer Engineering with a major in Applied Mathematics (just finished last year). I am Brazilian and study at a top University here in Brazil (State University of Campinas).
My GRE scores: 800 on quantitative, 540 on verbal, 3.5 on analytical writing.
My toefl scores are 103 on iBT.
My GPA: 3.2 out of 4 (the 3rd out of 40 in Applied Mathematics class and the 9th in Computer Engineering class)
I do know the university and was invited to a Intenational Environment forum at WashU. Had the opportunity to talk with several professors and also received a letter of reccomendation from a professor of School of Medicine.
I also have some research experience and a lot of extra-curricular activities.
How good my chances are?
