The waiting is over for me. Received mail from NSERC this morning with a CGS-D2!! G'luck all.

This really surprises me! You have clearly strong credentials. Can you appeal your case?

On Monday, I received a letter from NSERC which is for someone else, but with my mailing address (postal code is wrong though). I emailed them to let them know. Then this morning NSERC emailed me, saying that there's some thing messed up... and they are sending replacement letters to those affected... I haven't received the letter for myself yet (which was supposed to be here by Tuesday this week...).

Hi hellothere2, Do you win a CGS? I received email from NSERC this morning saying that "a limited number of letters were misdirected for some recipients of Alexander Graham Bell Canada Graduate Scholarships". Don't know if I win or not. I haven't received any letter. The grad secretary at my school would not let me know either.

On Monday, I received a letter (regarding PGS/CGS) from NSERC, thought that it was for me, but turned out it's for someone else. Funnily, NSERC used my mailing address (which is in QC) but with a postal code of ON. I think they're messing up my record (and possibly that of the other guy too!). I emailed them and they said they were looking into it; but no response as what has happened yet. Do you think NSERC send out all letters of notification in one go, or they do it gradually (finish one letter then send, etc.)

I think NSERC emails schools so schools always know the results earlier than we do. Likely it's been done on Friday. Also think that mails have been sent to students on the same day too. We should expect to receive results via regular mail by Tuesday/Wednesday next week?

Congrats westCoast!!! It's Friday after 5PM so I can't ask the secretary at my uni. Keep on waiting for Canada Post mailman to come with the magic letter (at least through this weekend)!

Around 23 March last year, ppl heard results from school. Emailed NSERC today but no answer yet. Will update!
