For those still waiting on UVA I was told today that I am on the waitlist....maybe the same for you guys too?

Funding came through for Rutgers - 19k plus health etc! Congrats!! Does your name means international applicant No. 1? Lol - just had a brain blank when they asked for a user name.... I am STILL waiting on Virginia...seems crazy. Anyone else still waiting want to contact them? I did late last week but didn't get much information. :?

I'm waiting on McGill and Toronto but I don't expect to hear anything back until March...

And for those waiting on rutgers, my online status just changed to admitted (no email from department yet so no information on funding).

Looks like there are three of us in the UVA boat. Still no word...

Neither - as of Thursday they still hadn't finished making decisions....

In at UT-Austin - same letter with "multi-year funding package" to follow...yay!

and were you specifically told that you were waitlisted?

I'm in the same position with UVA - since I was told to get back to them at the end of this week, I am hoping that some decisions are still to be made....not too optimistic about that though. Will let you know if my status changes.

On UVA, I was also told no decision had been made on my app and that I should check back later this week...not too hopeful though given the number already admitted on this board. Congrats everyone!

Hi everyone, I too have been obsessed with this forum since finding it last week so thought I would add to the profiles. UGPA 3.9 from decent but probably not well known international university; GGPA 3.9 from top 10 MA programme in US - honors awarded for MA thesis. One year TA experience, grad research fellow, one publication, two years good work experience in international security field (directly after MA), LORs all from top ten school, writing sample is MA thesis. Problem = GRE is 1280 with AW 5.0. Applied to: Maryland UVA UT Austin Rutgers UCLA UC Berkeley McGill Toronto Princeton Cornell WUSTL Georgetown Ohio State Also starting to panic but know there isn't much point. Good luck everyone and congrats to those already admitted! (oh - intapp ID isn't strictly accurate as have US citizenship...might be more important in CA than I had realised!).
