Please, for the sake of my sanity... Never ever ever ever put a link to that other grad school blog. It would be like plopping a heroin addict in a poppy field.

I've heard that Emory has several admission waves and that they continue to send them out until March or so. I'm in the same boat as you but take the advice that someone gave me and don't lose hope with Emory. They still might get back to us. Right? :?

OK, so I'm fairly new to this board and I've just realized that my username is the same as a monitor's name! Should I change it or might that help me get into a good program??? BTW, I SWEAR it's a coincidence!

I see that people are starting to get replies from Emory. While I hope that I'll hear from them today I wonder how long I should wait until it becomes clear that I was not accepted... Hmmmm....

None of the departments I applied to examine on a rolling basis. They wait until all applications have been received and then make their decisions based on the whole applicant pool. Master's programs are rolling, not PhD...Not that this knowledge makes me feel any better... :shock:
