Any one have any advice about gyms? What are the university gyms like, and do they offer classes? I'll be in kerrytown and I'd like to find a gym nearby, because I won't have a car.

When is the best time to look for apartments? I'd be coming from out of town to look at places so I want to make sure I come during "peak season" for apartment hunting. Also, what are the chances of being able to find an August lease? I want to have some time to get settled before school starts up in September.

I heard that Penn State faculty are taking turns calling their top applicants in order to narrow down interview invites.

I believe they have sent out acceptances and wait lists as well. Not sure if they're done with the process yet though

According the the Rackham website there is up to a 10 day lag between when the department has made a decision and when it's posted on Wolverine (if at all)

Any word from Penn State yet?

Any one heard from U of Michigan?
