Does it appear to be personalized or does it look like a form letter? Curious if they sent out a mass email to all admits and the rest of us can move Berkeley from "Waiting" to "Rejected" in our signature :wink:

No but an admit from last week said her letter was dated (I believe) "February 12" so I can only hope that they'll be notifying tomorrow.

I can't believe I just wasted a little bit of my life reading the 2nd and 3rd threads mentioned here. That's twenty minutes I'm not going to get back. Oof.

Not even close. Submitted mine more than a month before.

Also -- makes me feel much better to know all of you incredibly smart, qualified folks ALSO received the "no" from New Haven. Thank God for thegradcafe. Also -- how am I still on decaf??? Ha, I would but reeling off my recent Yale rejection doesn't really put me in the mood for taking any chances. I'd rather receive one, rather than two, rejections on a Friday Does anyone have any intelligence that Berkeley has actually MADE decisions or are we just going off of past years?

Alas. I join the ranks of Yale rejects. First news was not good. Let's hope the news gets better - fast!

FYI -- I just received the following from ND's DGS: "Thank you very much for applying to the Political Science graduate program at Notre Dame. We wish to inform you that your application is complete, and your materials are now being reviewed by the Admissions Committee. There is nothing further we need from you at this point. Should that change, you will be notified of what is needed by email. Unfortunately, the process of considering applicants is a long one. Please understand that we normally receive approximately 200 applications, from which we accept from 10-12 new students. Most likely you will not hear anything further from us until the end of Feburary or beginning of March. Thank you again for applying, and the best of luck to you." Gee. Thanks. STILL NO WORD FOR THE THEORISTS. AHHHH.

My application status says "completed". What does THAT mean?? Unfortunately it also says that they did not receive my GRE scores, so I hope that "completed" doesn't mean "soon to be rejected".

Ha - yeah, I've lost my sense of humor about such things, too. I've become an increasingly anxious, unpleasant person. Fie, admissions committees!! Fie!! So what's the deal with UVA? Is yesterday's posting legit? Wish they'd get on with it...
