  1. oh noes I'm sorry to hear that.. did your status on buzzport also say "action-dept.decision pending" and show missing documents such as your final transcript?
  2. @meow: is your status "action"-dept. decision pending or "pre-eval"- dept. decision pending? and thanks guys for your replies
  3. Hi Everyone, Hope you guys are receiving the good news. I, on the other hand, have not been doing very well but today, I saw that my status at georgia tech(PhD in BME) was finally updated from "no decision has been made" to "action-dept decision pending". Funny thing is, now in the documents sections, I have two new documents that popped up, 1) Visa/I-20 and 2) Final transcript from my ugrad both marked missing. Reading this, my mind is trying to take it as an admit, but my sane brain tells me not. So for those lucky ones who have already been admitted or rejected (I say lucky for the ones who were rejected because not knowing anything is really killing me), did you guys go through the same "no decision" to "action-dept decision pending"? Thanks lots and hope all of you are doing great!
  4. @a_b_r it's the silence before tempest. @theflash I submitted my app but heard absolutely nothing and they don't even seem to have a decent tracking system.. Anyone knows if UPenn is done accepting? They wouldn't reply to my email and my status says decision still not available..
  5. Hey guys So I was wondering how common it is to defer one's entrance for a year after accepting an offer(I'm in bioengineering); I know that people have in the past, but I guess I'm wondering if any of you had a hard time/or was told to just reapply next year, which would be so much pain and money. I've been thinking about doing random things before I go to grad school relatively recently, but seeing that I might be doing totally random things-not great on resume-I decided to apply this past fall anyway. But now that decisions are coming out, I'm seriously thinking about how to go about this. Should I discuss this before accepting an offer or after? Hope you guys are hearing lots of good news!
  6. @daliu, in the recent email i recieved from MIT be (my app was ready to be reviewed) MIT will be sending out invites from mid-end Feb so let's not freak out about that one yet!
  7. .... give me my $125 back! the only place i've heard/been admitted to is vanderbilt (and a rejection from ucb). for people applying to UC davis, I, being the most impatient and anxious person, emailed ms. wintersmith about the invites. she says they only started sending them out/hanve't seen all apps so i guess there's still hope. good luck everyone!
  8. according to UPenn BE's site, they send out invites in "january" and there's only one more day left so i guess we'll all hear back soon.... anyone knows when boston u, cornell, uc davis, stanford send out invites?
