I received an offer today from a school asking me to respond by March 30th. However, Ball State is my first choice and I've been waitlisted there and the deadline for their first round admissions is April 15th. I don't want to accept my second offer only to be admitted. Has anyone declined an offer from BSU? Has anyone been accepted from the waitlist after attending the interview? Is it possible to ask for an extension without looking rude or can I ask BSU where I stand on their list?

Hello, I'm currently in a Masters program for Clinical Psych and I'm applying to Counseling and Clinical PhD programs for the fall. So far, I've been wait listed by two and I have one interview at UNC on Feb 11. Is anyone else hearing back from, say, UNL, WashU, CSU, Univ. of Toledo, or Ball State? I'm trying to gauge when I should be hearing back or if they have interviewed already. Thanks!
