I'll be going to UVA this fall as well, in social psychology. Might visit in a couple of weeks but could push it back to later in the summer.

Got the rejection from NYU about a week ago. Got an offer from UVA a couple days ago and just accepted today! Phew, good luck to everyone!

Just received an email from Cornell with a rejection. NYU is the only school left that I haven't heard from, although I'm not really expecting anything at this point. Still waiting on UVa, but that's contingent on other people making decisions.

Anybody else hear anything from NYU? Other people not hear anything yet? What about Cornell? These are the last two schools I haven't heard anything from.

I didn't know about it either until I got the email, so I can't say much about it. It's a one year program and they seem to place students really well into PhD programs/jobs afterwards. Here is the website: http://mapss.uchicago.edu/

Got a rejection email from U Chicago. In the same email/pdf I was informed that I was accepted into their master's program.

Received a rejection email from UNC today (which is pretty expected at this point).

I'm going to hold off on making a decision until I hear back from some other schools. I want to make sure I've got as much information as possible before I decide. Good luck with Arizona! Thanks! My interests are still pretty broad....but I'm into embodiment, metaphors, psychological distancing, perspective taking, altruism...

Just received an official rejection from CU-Boulder. Other updates: UCSD: Visited/Interviewed a couple weeks ago. I know one person received an offer, so I'm assuming I'm not one of their first choices. KU: Accepted. Indiana: Visited/Interviewed last weekend. No updates since. UVa: Still wait listed. No updates. Haven't heard from: U Chicago, Yale, Cornell, UNC, NYU.

Saw some people mention a couple of these schools earlier. Here is what I know so far/my situation: University of Kansas: had a phone interview today UVa: wait listed. Got an email letting me know on Jan. 20. Indiana: will be visiting Feb. 18. I applied to their IGERT program in conjunction with social. UC San Diego: will be visiting Feb. 10/11. No offers yet. Schools I haven't heard from: NYU, Cornell, Colorado, U Chicago, UNC, Yale.
