Does anyone know how long it generally takes schools to contact students after the interview process? In my particular case, I interviewed with a program about two weeks ago (the number of interviewers was only a little more than the number of available spots), and have yet to hear from them. Is this unusual? Thanks.

Given that the recent economic downturn has increased the number of grad. school applicants while decreasing the number of available slots (due to less funding), would it be safe to assume that this is one of the hardest years in recent history to be admitted to grad. school? My response is a resounding YES!
