  1. I haven't heard anything. I'm just going to assume that I didn't get in. I don't really care though because I already have 10 schools to choose from.
  2. Hsu, I'm unclear if you're trying to compare Minn and JH's ChE or Minn's ChE and JH's BME, but, like you said, Minnesota is undoubtedly the better ranked school. However, I would not make the assumption that you couldn't get a job by going to JH. I don't know a lot about the biomedical engineering field, but the Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that jobs for biomedical engineering are going to increase by 72% from 2008 to 2018. This increase is by far more than any other engineering field. http://www.bls.gov/oco/ocos027.htm Both are great schools though. I don't think you could go wrong by choosing either one. I know that Minnesota can get ridiculously cold and Baltimore can be very unsafe.
  3. Koirbiku I didn't apply to Stanford. A lot of people I talked to at the UDel visit had heard back from them though - both acceptances and rejections.
  4. Thanks for the input. I still haven't heard from NW. This is what they told me though: Mellmer: All final decisions will be made by the end of February. I am unable to provide you with any other information. We are making our way through over 300 applications, and would like to review each application in detail. Please be patient and you will here something by the end February. The Best, Keli Change Graduate Program Assistant k-change@northwestern.edu 847-491-2773
