Evans has FINALLY started notifying! I got my admittance letter today. Nearly had a heart attack because it was a one page letter that came in a standard sized envelope and I thought I had been rejected. Letter dated 3/20. I currently live in Seattle so the letter didn't have far to go. No mention of funding yet, but the letter says that the formal admittance packet should be coming from the graduate school soon. Slightly annoying because I was expecting funding info to come at the same time as the offer of admission given that it's taken them FOREVER to notify. Open House is April 6 or 7th.

Got accepted today without funding. Randomly checked my status today during a business meeting after reading on the blog that they would begin reporting today. Almost screamed out loud when I saw I had been accepted. Really excited because SIPA is one of my top choices.

Thanks, policy_applicant! I applied to GW, NYU, Syracuse, Columbia, American & University of WA. GW was the last school I applied to, so I was suprised to get a final decision from them so quickly. I graduated in 2006 from a regional state university in WA w/ a BA in Political Science. I worked all through college, including internships, and have been working full-time since graduation. I'm not comfortable mentioning my stats (GRE/GPA, etc) here, but feel free to private message me if you want. Good luck to everyone!

I'm one of the admitted students who heard from GWU this morning. Received my email notification for their Fall 2009 MPA program - no official admit letter yet, or news on funding.
