Hey there L333makes- I heard from VCU- craft dept. They will be making decisions this week apparently. Not sure if that goes for painting, but it might be an indication of other departments timeline!? Have you visited VCU's campus? Wondering what their studios/campus are like- any info is much appreciated!

I got the email from RISD about FAFSA. I have received notices from two schools now, reminding us of the deadline for Financial aid. Every time I see a letter from a school in my inbox- I freak out a little bit!- Then I open it and it's about 'visiting artists' or 'financial aid' or 'we have your information'. I need an acceptance!!!! Just one.

Is that your first acceptance!? Congrats! Now you KNOW you'll end up somewhere...

I'm actually happy it's a Monday! Snail mail.. And the chance that this week we will all hear from a school.

Scolby- Thank you. You are/were totally right. I was prepared to talk about my work and that's all I needed. *obviously know about the program you're applying to. There were no Yale-type crazy questions... just straight forward. Whew, but I'm glad I'm done, and so happy to have at least gotten this far in their app. process. My fingers are still crossed for the next few weeks!

Phone interview with CCA this afternoon. I'm freakin' out. Someone, PLEASE tell me I shouldn't be nervous! At least it's just on the telephone so they won't see my red face and twitching hands.

4 schools for me too. I'm a little worried- but pretty sure I found programs that were right for me- Here's to hoping I'm right for them... Good luck Amandapants!

I applied to: CCA, Pratt, VCU, and RISD.. feeling like I should have added 6 or 7 more schools!!!! Ugh. Oh Sh*t. Anyone know anything about MFA at Pratt? Haven't seen it on anyone's list so far...
