Just got bad news from OSU website. My application is not approved
Still waiting from others...Good luck to all of us!

Looks like NWU will be out early next week. :|
Hopefully. Don't let us wait too long.

So, chin up! Hang in there, and who knows? If you don't get in this year, then maybe you can find out what sunk you and turn in a stellar application next year. It hasn't always been fun, but at least the company was good. Thank you all for the good company.
That's right. The application process helps me to learn about my shortcomings. And it's lucky to find so many friends sharing info and results here.

Couldn't control, mates. Called up the department grad program assistant at Northwestern.
They are sending out admits through e-mail from sometime later today, although they will probably be notifying admits next week also. Keep an eye on your inbox, folks. The applyweb page will be updated from next week (both acceptances and rejections).
No impact of the financial crisis whatsoever. The department is taking the usual number of students, which is between 15 to 20 and no cutbacks on funding too.
I didn't ask whether I was in or out. But she checked whether they have everything about me on file. If she knew the decision on my application, then she didn't sound very hopeful. Oh well.
She may just doesn't know. Maybe Northwestern will be the first one I will hear from. Thanks for the news, mormegil.

Did you check yous status on the OSU's website? I found my kind rejection there yesterday.
I check it once a day. The status today is still evaluation. Maybe they will update later today...

Hello all,
I'm an int'l applicant and new here. Congrats to acceptees first!
Haven' got any news from any school yet... even OSU, Madison or Cornell...does that mean I should give up hope on these ones?
