  1. Maybe they take longer to answer international students? Have you logged into the application website to see if your status has been updated on there? I'm still very curious to know if any master's program applicants have heard back. One rejection email was posted on Friday. I would like to know if all the rejections have already gone out.
  2. I spoke to the Mizzou J-school graduate admissions department on February 16, and they said we should be notified in mid-March. I know. Way after the website had said.
  3. I called the grad school office today, and they said acceptance/rejection emails for master's program applicants will probably come in mid-March.
  4. All your posts make me feel so much better. This reassures me that I'm not permanently crazy, just grad school notification time crazy. I've told myself I can no longer search Twitter and Google to find other people talking about the school! This and my email are the only things I'm allowing myself. Question for everyone: How soon is too soon to call a school? If notifications were supposed to be sent out 4-6 weeks after the deadline, and that 6 weeks ended Friday, should I wait at least until this Friday before I call and ask when we will be notified? I'm under the impression that both acceptances and rejections will be sent via email.
  5. I can access the site, but I'm not sure where such a list would be found...
  6. I saw that one Ph.D. applicant to Mizzou was rejected via email today. So sorry to hear this. Has anyone else heard? As I mentioned earlier, I applied to the master's program. I am very curious to see if any other master's applicants have heard back.
  7. Thanks for all the responses! I did not interview with the school, but I did go have meetings with an admissions advisor, a professor, and a department chair, and they were all ridiculously helpful. So welcoming and warm. Obviously, it made me want to go there even more than I already did. GAAAAH, I feel like I can't wait any longer!
  8. Is anyone else awaiting a letter from the University of Missouri? I've applied to the graduate school for a master's in journalism. I know that their website says we'll hear in 4-6 weeks, but from what I can gather on this website, it looks like people in previous years haven't heard until mid-March. In addition, I just checked their website, and it said that they'd been out for three days due to snow and were hurrying to catch up on applications. Just wondering it anybody else out there is in the same boat!
