Yeah, I am feeling pretty negative. I hope there is still a chance. Did your friend say if it was an email from a prof or the graduate school. At least the waiting is almost over, and we can move on.

I guess Princeton didn't like many of us. It wasn't a good match, so I can understand the rejection, but now I am getting really nervous about the other two schools. How is everyone feeling? Anyone get an acceptance?

The wait is driving me crazy! I check my applications everyday, with nothing changing. Check email a bazillion times a day, and check the religion forum with some hopes of info on when the notifications will be sent out. I am so tired of waiting!

While we wait, for those who observe Lent, what are you giving up or taking on for Lent? I am thinking of giving up checking this forum a bazillion times a day hoping for some clue as to when I will hear something.

Just curious if I am the only one that hasn't heard from Harvard. I don't want to call or email if not all notifications have gone out. There were issues with my financial aid portion of the application, I wonder if that automatically ruled me out.

I don't know... it doesn't say anything on my online application. Hmmm... looks like they never recieved my financial aid portion, maybe that has something to do with it.

What schools do Recruitment Weekends for prospective Religious Studies Ph.D candidates?

I applied to the department of religion. I am guessing they don't start notifying until the end of Feb. or beginning of March. The wait is so hard!

Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Emory, and Duke. It seems most don't announce until later in the month.

Anyone apply to a religious ethics Ph.D program. Have you heard anything yet? Just wondering who else is out there.
