just got accepted at UMaryland. So late in the GAME! they're so lame!

Is anyone going to UVA this week or going to UMichigan next week? Did anyone go to UNC this past weekend?

thanks for this very frank reply! i just went to University of Delaware. very nice faculties, facilities, and grad students. i was impressed- my expectations were kinda low. from the grad students i thought it was TOO LAID BACK. kinda put me off. there is nothing wrong with a little bit of friendly competition. i don't mean not helping each other out or sabotage. but working really hard to publish and do well on cums. idk that is my outlook. also, i expect the self-absorbedness from UM and the school i am visiting tomorrow (UNC). but anyway thanks! what other schools are you visiting or have visited?

so my guess is if you haven't heard from a school by this time (since all the visitations are in March) you're probably rejected. what do you think?

what you said doesn't make sense. you mean you received the email a few months ago and got a accepted?

i actually emailed them today. this is the reply- lots of applicants, still reviewing, and we will let you know by mid march.

has anyone been rejected at Penn or Yale?

did anyone apply to rutgers (new brunswick) or university of maryland? i have not heard a word from them.

i was a little unsure too. i just added as many professors as i could- i guess 8 i don't really remember. i think that was the right thing. when are you visiting UNC?

the same here more or less. i was admitted at UNC but i am still waiting for Penn and Northwestern. this whole admission thing is a mystery to me- meaning i heard from UNC but you have not but you were admitted at Penn and Northwestern and i have not heard from them. hmmmmm...

how soon did you find out from penn and northwestern?

that email is usually followed with a letter (hard copy) stating that you're accepted.
