I have to preface this post by saying that I'm a waitlisted candidate for the MDP, so proceed with caution, but I came across a couple of posts expressing doubt at the 2nd year fellowship allocation, with specific emphasis on this post: http://themorningsidepost.com/2008/08/in-response-clarification-about-financial-aid-at-sipa/ in what I believe is a SIPA publication. This is a response by Matt Clemons regarding a student's concerns over the 2nd year fellowships, I thought this might come in handy.
Congrats guys!
I don't wanna come across as a nuisance, but I'm on the waitlist for MDA-DP, and it has been my dream program since I found out about it. Is it possible - for any of the admitted MDA-DP students - to offer me any insight into your decision-making process? I've gotten accepted to a couple of schools, but I'm actually thinking of reapplying next year if I'm not taken off the waitlist for Fall 2011.
Thanks so much!
I was wondering if anyone could offer any insight into Columbia's waitlist situation - are there a lot of people on it, etc. I know at this point it's pure speculation because it varies from year to year, but it would be great to have some background info nonetheless.
Hi everyone,
I submitted my application by Jan 5th as well, but I had a question - on the applyyourself website, does your application status say 'submitted' or 'complete'? Mine says 'submitted', with a list of my recommenders, I'm not sure if I should be worried. Thanks!
Does anyone have this problem? I received an email saying that my admissions decision was out, about half an hour ago, but when I went to the applyyourself website and clicked on the link, a pop-up window came up with the heading of 'Decision', but the field was totally blank.
