I am trying to call up all universities from whom I have not heard back yet. Stanford's phone goes to a voice mail again. Do let me know if any of you call
I called up Harvard's graduate admission office. They said that they are still sending out decisions and that the latest letters will be sent on March 15th.
i received the official letter today. The small size of the envelope made it look like a rejection letter. When I opened it, I came to know that in addition to the usual fellowship, I was offered the shiefield fellowship, which makes my total stipend 32,050$ for the first year
Sending acceptances via snail mail without a prior email notification is ridiculous. What about other schools guys ? I am still waiting to hear back from Harvard SEAS and Caltech applied physics.
One of my friends received an admit from Harvard SEAS last year via postal service during the last week of Feb. He didnot receive an email notification at all. So dont lose hope until you receive the official rejection letter. @achapiro, can you please describe what you mean by automatic rejection letter ?
I had to try many times before getting to speak to them. They must be answering many calls at the moment. Keep trying. . Good luck !
I said my name and location and asked her on when they plan to send out decisions.
Since, I wasnot able to put up with the wait, I called up the admission office. Fortunately, the lady who picked up my call spoke pretty well. she gave me the good news that I have been admitted but they i will come to know about funding only in April. She said that I will receive an official notification "soon".
