Found out I was admitted to CCA via web advisor tonight! I'm so happy but also concerned about how I'm going to pay the tuition!

Hey Guys - So for those of you waiting on UCSD, I did a bit of digging and found out that someone was accepted via email on Feb 22. You can see what I mean here: http://thegradcafe.c...iego&t=a&pp=50. Do you think this means that if we haven't heard we're not going to?

Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it seems that all the notifications for interviews were sent out for CalArts. Also for CM - I'm just guessing because it said 2011 rejected, or something like that last week. It's changed now to 2011 applicants, but that seems pretty clear to me.

Sure, it felt more like a conversation than an interview and they wanted to know if I had any questions for them. I spoke with 2 professors and someone in the program. They asked me if I'd heard of an artist that my work reminded them of. They also asked me about my process and some specifics about another piece.

I thought they had already called people they were interested in. I could be mistaken though.

Hey Everyone, I've been a lurker for a while, but thought I'd say hello. I'm a video/performance artist. This process is so emotionally draining! CCA-interviered SFAI- interviewed MassArts- interviewed UCI-guessing a rejection UCSD- holding my breath CalArts- rejection CMU- rejection Although, I'm a bit older - 32 - I've been thinking that if I don't get a decent aid package I may wait and apply again next year. I'd love to hear anyone's thoughts about that. Congratulations on your interview Zaquon! It sounds like waiting it out worked for you.

Hello I applied for New Genres as well. I applied to: CCA -interviewed SFAI -interviewed MassArts -interviewed UCSD CM -rejected UCI CalArts - rejected I'm wishing I would of applied to a few more places such as UCLA and NYU. Also, if I don't get decent funding offers, I might just hold out until next year. What is your work like? Best of luck to you and everyone on this site.
