Hi everyone, I just stumbled upon some info about two federal programs which will take effect in July and I thought these might be useful to other potential policy grad students out there: 1. Income Based Repayment (as many of us will most likely be struggling to pay off loans with public salaries) 2. Public Service Loan Forgiveness (forgives federal loan debt after 10 years in "public service" jobs including jobs in government and non-profits) If anyone knows of any other funding/loan forgiveness opportunities, please post them! http://www.ibrinfo.org/what.vp.html

I selected law and other. I worked for 3 years as a paralegal in NYC, Paris, and DC and then did some time on an organic farm.

I voted "International - Urban\Rural, Social, Health, Development Studies" and "International - Economics, Business, Trade". I'm primarily interested in international economic development, but I'm into international trade policy too. Once I'm in school that could all change!

I'm so glad I stumbled onto this site, although I wish I'd known about you all before I applied. Anyone else regretting not applying to more "big name" schools? I didn't expect to get in anywhere, and so far I've gotten accepted to 2 programs and instead of being happy I'm mad at myself for not reaching higher!
