Checked the Northwestern page today, finally got a rejection.

Looks like you and I can mourn our unfunded offers and speculate about Northwestern together.

Georgetown emailed me asking if I would be coming to their visit day, I replied asking if they had any more information about my admittance - specifically whether there was any financial assistance. He emailed me back saying that the dean would send and official email sometime next week. Sounds like an unofficial confirmation that the offer was unfunded, did any of the other later Georgetown admits find anything else out about funding?

Also I just got a no from NYU's Law and Society Program, though it doesn't seem like anyone on here was interested in it

I don't know, I haven't heard from NW but I'm assuming if they were at all interested they'd tell me I was on a wait list. It seems like letting people know ASAP would be in their interest.

Did you get an official email from Georgetown yet? I got an unofficial one, and I'm wondering if funding information will come in the follow up they promised.

How did the NYU notifications come?

At the places I've contacted, I've always talked to a graduate secretary, or other administrative person. I'm pretty sure these people have nothing to do with any decisions, so sounding desperate isn't really an issue. Even so, I made sure to apologize for bothering them and joked about all of the questions they must be getting from overzealous grad applicants. They've all been really friendly and helpful.

Did any theorists or public law...public lawists...public legalists...public law scholars get into Michigan?

All of that was heavily invested with Bernie Madoff, also a lot of Icelandic treasury bonds. By the way I'm theory/public law.

I heard that Ann Arbor was a horrible place to live -- earthquakes, high cost of living, acid rain, werewolves, etc. And I'm not just saying that because I'm on a wait list and trying to deter folks from accepting.
