  1. Accepted into Chicago's MAPSS, 1/3 tuition. I will almost for sure be turning it down, but I echo the sentiment of Doorkeeper - nice to be accepted somewhere.
  2. Second year in a row with a Wait List from WashU. Yay...?
  3. Is anyone still in limbo with Notre Dame? I know that some acceptances have been sent out, a handful of wait lists, and now some new rejections are creeping up as well, but I have not heard one way or the other from them. Nothing on the website, no e-mail... Sigh.
  4. I was waitlisted for Notre Dame last year too, for Constitutional Studies. Hopefully this year goes better...
  5. Hey all! Back for my second time around of this madness. Good luck to everyone, regardless of whether it's your first or fifteenth time applying. Hopefully this is an appropriate thread to ask this: I think that I've noticed something different about my University of Texas-Austin application homepage. I believe that for the past month, I've only had two available tabs in the my "Mystatus" homepage interface: "Dashboard" and "Admission." While my admission status is still listed as "In Review," I believe that there are two new tabs available: "Housing" and "Financial Aid." Based on this information, I have a few questions: - For my fellow UT-Austin applicants: Are these, in fact, new tabs? Or has the stress of waiting around for results finally and officially cracked my sanity, and they've been there all along? - If they are new, is this a significant change? If this is a new development, I'm wondering if this is a change that every applicant will see on his/her homepage, or if it might signal something... more exciting. Not putting too much stock in something like this, but I need to do something to pass the time, right? Netflix can only supply so many discs of the Sopranos at once.
  6. I've been in touch with Notre Dame off and on a bit - I talked to them today, to let them know that I made it into my backup school (I'm on the Wait List right now). I was told that they hoped to have more information about the Constitutionalism, Law, and Politics subfield by the end of next week. So maybe more information is coming soon for you!
  7. For Notre Dame, it would be Constitutionalism, Law and Politics
  8. So... what does that mean for someone like me, who has been Wait Listed at Notre Dame? I have no idea how much hope I should have.
  9. That would make sense. It's looking like I'm just going to be waiting on the Wait List at Notre Dame, so hopefully they make it down to me on the list. It would be nice to know exactly where on the list I am (among people in my subfield, and just in general).
  10. That is good to know, thanks! So do you think they send out acceptances to the exact number of people that they want, and then offer people on the Wait List a spot one at a time when people turn it down? Do you know if you're accepting ND's offer?
  11. Well, that is good news for me, since I am also interested in Constitutional Law! The Con. Law area of emphasis looks great at Notre Dame. Thanks for the update, and I hope everything works out for you with your other schools!
  12. Yeah, I got an e-mail from a professor today saying I'm on the Wait List.
  13. Claiming the Notre Dame Wait List ... Does anyone know what the odds of getting in from the Wait List would be? I know it's a pretty big generalization, but they did say it's a "very short" list, so I'm just trying to figure out how hopeful I should be. It seems likely (since I haven't heard from Washington yet, I'm assuming that's a no from them) that I'll just be waiting to hear back from Notre Dame as my last real hope.
  14. Well congrats! I'm still waiting to hear - it looks like some applicants have received calls, some have received a mass rejection, some have been put on the wait list... And there's me.
  15. Did you get a phone call before the e-mail, or just the e-mail?
