psychnave, Keep in mind the # of schools to which you apply counts greatly. Last year I applied to 4 schools with 2 interviews and got in nowhere. This year I applied to 17 schools...so far 1 admit and 3 other interviews. It all depends on stuff (profound, I know).

Hello all, I am debating revealing personal info (no name or location) such as details of my applications and circumstances surrounding them that might identify me to admissions personel or department faculty...Do they go on thegradcafe? or am I being paranoid? Information I want to reveal is to get some perspectives on my applications, but its personal in nature. THoughts?

I have a few questions about my applications...I feel I have special and personal circumstances but worry that revealing them might identify me to admissions personel etc. So, my question to everyone and anyone is: who goes on thegradcafe.com? is it likely that admissions personel and/or department faculty would look here? The world of graduate admissions is relatively small and I wonder at whether it is wise to reveal my true, super-hero, identity. On the other hand I have questions regarding my circumstances that might prove helpful to my attempts to rid Gotham of crime (ior get into grad school...whichever comes first). Any thoughts?
