  1. The deadline to accept the award is May 8, so by Tuesday they should have the list of people accepting. When I applied first time around, as an undergrad senior, it took a while to get the email after people posted on here about getting the call.
  2. The report is at : http://www.cfo.doe.gov/budget/13budget/content/volume4.pdf If you go down to page 314, they provide some details. We have not received the final package to sign but I am thinking pretty soon for the deadline.
  3. They only gave out 50 awards for 1300 or so applicants, so it was a small pool. Actually found a report for FY 2012 spending that says only 50 were going to be chosen. Glad I didn't see this as I would probably not have applied. So if anyone thought it was a ruse, this thread was just a bit dead this year compared to the last time, and I think that less awards (<4%) has made the thread slow.
  4. I applied under Biogeochemistry. Never heard if they were done calling out, sorry. Website login never changed though.
  5. Supposed to get a follow up email today, but nothing on the website changed as it does for NSF...
  6. I am not sure, it was a pretty quick call. My last name starts with T. I am not sure it was done that way in 2010 though, so it could be a mixed bag.
  7. Just got the call today. Good luck to those on the thread as it appears we should start hearing now...
  8. Just bumping the thread. Has anyone heard anything yet? It seems like a lot of fellowships announced already, but they appear to be sticking tight with the May announcement. Anyone been able to get contact with them about it?
  9. Applied D2 and got the rejection package today. It was dated April 29, so it appears that rejections are still trickling out. On the East Coast as well. Good luck to all of those still running.
  10. Congratulations to you all. Anyone applying on the East Coast? I know Georgia Tech has sent out some acceptances, but has anyone heard about funding from them yet?
  11. Congratulations on the Stanford acceptance. It seems that more schools are starting to release there results right now. Anyone heard from Georgia Tech yet for Environmental, or if they have announced funding? Its good to see everyone at least getting some acceptances.
  12. I received an acceptance letter in the mail around Feb 20 I believe last year. Not sure if they get MS out faster since funding is very limited, but it seemed early in the process. Haven't heard much on here in the way of Stanford though, so maybe they are not getting them out as quickly this year. I remember emailing last year and being told early March was realistic, so I wouldn't be too worried.
  13. Well its nice to see there are other env people on the board. Last year I had heard back from Stanford by now, but that was MS, so not too sure about Ph.D. Well hope it goes well for you all, and feel free to post as info becomes available. It is nice to know whats going on with environmental acceptances since it doesn't ever seem to be discussed much on here.
  14. First post, though I have viewed the boards extensively for the past few years. Has anybody heard anything from Duke Civil and Environmental Engineering yet? Haven't heard much in the way of environmental engineering programs on the boards thus far, so if anyone has started to hear back go ahead and make a post. Thanks for all of your help.
