I finally spoke to Jonathan the Fulbright contact for Southeast Asia. There is no pre-departure orientation for Korea. Instead you go straight to the country. I am still waiting on my decision letter

Every time I call Jonathan a Jamaican lady picks up the phone . I've been calling Jonathan for a few weeks now and never spoke to him directly, which is weird. Either he's never at his desk or he is avoiding applicant calls . It is very frustrated in my opinion.

Outside of teaching I am trying to join a Toast Masters Club, Rotary, volunteer at a hospital and take taekwondo classes . I applied to an ETA Program in Korea that's why and I've been looking for ESL lesson plans online lol just in case I am a finalist

Actually I heard the advisor can call Fulbright if they know someone to get a response about their students . It depends who you know in the office and if the country of interest had finally meet.

Peanut, How are you paying for your education? I am interested in applying to Oxford for next year and I would like to know how did you choose the colleges that were best fit for you? What did you look for in your colleges because I am really confuse about this? I am interested in a Masters in Global Health Science or Masters in Medical Anthropology.

How can one look for funding to pay for University of Oxford? I will love to apply to Oxford University for next year but the funding is kind of bothering me since I am an American. Also what did y'all look for in the colleges?

Ok I found it for Korea ETA Program the stipend is 1,300,000 won a month which is approximately 1,200 USD a month I wonder if I can do another program in conjunction to make a little bit of pocket change

Word and Fulbright is a very prestigious fellowship and it's for a year

Hopefully, I hear from Korea's ETA Program soon!! I am anxious as well since I just declined the CLS Scholarship for Korea. Please don't make me regret rejecting that scholarship
