  1. Taken off the waitlist for Concordia (Painting/Drawing). I had almost given up hope!
  2. Waitlists are a funny thing. They feel a little good, because you know they liked your stuff, but at the same time, it means more waiting. I was informed by Concordia a few weeks ago that I'm #3 on their waitlist for their Drawing and Painting program. I'm not sure what their stats are, so I have no idea what's going to happen in the end. Given that I still haven't heard the initial results from two other schools I'd applied to, as well as the fact that I need to move out of my house this month and don't know whether to look for a permanent or temporary place at this point, I am going crazy from all this uncertainty. How are the other waitlisted folks holding up? Any movement from the list for anybody here?
  3. I haven't updated this for a while, but here's my site: http://www.bethfrey.com/beth with a few newer things on my tumblr: http://bethfrey.tumblr.com I really need to work on that.
  4. Just got rejected from UWO by email. I didn't think I'd get that one anyway.
  5. I hope you don't mind this newbie starting a new topic, but I figure that because things are done a bit differently in America's Hat, we should have our own space for it. I just received my first application result - #3 on the waitlist for Drawing and Painting at Concordia. I have no idea how likely it is that my waitlist spot could turn into a confirmed place at Concordia, but at least it makes me a bit optimistic for other results (being that Concordia is one of the most popular programs in the country). I'm now waiting on NSCAD, Western (UWO), and UManitoba. I just submitted my application to Manitoba the other day, due to their extremely late deadline. Fingers crossed! I also realized that there was an OAC grant application I submitted back in December that I haven't yet heard from.
