To give you some light about the city: It is not all that bad as most people make it. If you live AROUND the city (Grand Blanc, Fenton, Flushing...etc) it's fine. Being centrally located, its an easy drive up north or down to Detroit. I teach at UM-Flint and its a great school! A lot of advancements and its really getting some nice recognition.

Has anyone applied to the PhD in English program at WSU? I'm still waiting to hear back and I wondered if anyone has heard anything yet?
